Research Partners

In 2019, ACI partnered with the Indian Government’s Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP). CIMAP is India’s premier plant research laboratory on the forefront of multidisciplinary research in plant, biological, and chemical sciences.

CIMAP has dedicated a group of 15 Scientists to ACI’s cannabis research project. CIMAP has many research facilities located in a variety of agro-climatic zones, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pantnagar, Purara, and Lucknow (its headquarters). ACI’s research is presently being conducted by CIMAP at their headquarters in Lucknow and at CIMAPS GB Pant Agri University in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.

CIMAP Research Team

CIMAP has in place a team of 15 researchers working under a Principal Scientist and the Director on ACI’s project. As the project develops, the team seeks to add more researchers, scientists, and investigators to its team.
